Samhain is a pagan holiday that falls on the first day of November. Many believe that this holiday marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. Samhain is also thought to be a time when the veil between our world and the spirit world is at its thinnest, making it easier for communication with those who have passed on.
Many modern Halloween traditions, such as pumpkin carving and trick-or-treating, are actually derived from Samhain customs. So if you’re looking to get in touch with your pagan side this autumn, celebrate Samhain!
